Glaze study on a handmade ceramic 'tablet'.
Part of an ongoing exploration of geometric pattern and color studies.
The tablets I'm using are cast from liquid clay slip containing colored clay debris inclusions from previous projects, ground down into particulate.
A wooden frame cut from Purple Heart strips has been attached to the back of the tablet. It has a built in cleat for simple installation.
